By Chris Wilterdink

You know the “why” behind the Certificate in Discipleship Coaching: to create opportunities for local churches to reclaim Methodist models of accountable discipleship and discipleship pathways by training local coaches. You may even know why you are considering joining the program and receiving a certificate.

Upon completion of the basic Certificate in Discipleship Coaching, participants can optionally enroll in Phase 2 to deepen their understanding of discipleship systems and pathways.
If a district or conference is interested in hosting in-person training, Discipleship Ministries and EMC3 will work together to determine the amount of in-person hours equivalent to the onsite training and negotiate the need for travel costs to be included for facilitators.
