Energize Your Church Through Listening
By Bryan Tener

Has the uncertainty of the future and the challenges that your congregation face left you overwhelmed and anxious? Are you working so hard to keep ministries at their current level that you’re unable to plan ahead and work toward a vision? It’s sometimes challenging to know where to start. If you’re seeking a way to energize your congregation that makes room for planning and moving forward toward deeper engagement within the congregation and in the community, this recorded webinar is for you.
On June 7, Discipleship Ministries and Path 1 hosted an hour-long webinar with Joy Skjegstad and Heidi Unruh on the action of listening titled, “Energize Your Congregation Through Listening.” The Zoom session was full of great ideas that came from the panelists and participants. There were some great insights on the impact of valuing someone’s voice and where that can lead—deeper connections, engagement, and involvement. Throughout the session, participants learned valuable tools, models for listening, and possible actions steps that they could begin using right away.
This hope-filled session might just be what you’re needing to begin envisioning the possibilities of all that could be available for you and your congregation as you seek renewal, purpose, and meaningful relationships within the church and more vital relationships in the neighborhoods and communities in which you live.
