Launchpad Returns in February 2024

Due to the high numbers of new United Methodist church starts underway around the nation, many happening in the wake of the disaffiliation crisis, Path 1 staff will be offering a rare winter edition of Launchpad for people seeking to gather new churches. Launchpad’s online edition happens on five consecutive Tuesdays this winter, starting February 13 and ending March 12. We will gather via Zoom from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., Central Time (5:30 to 8 p.m., Eastern; 3:30 to 6 p.m., Mountain; and 2:30 to 5 p.m., Pacific). Paul Nixon and the Path 1 staff team will lead this Launchpad series.

Launchpad has been around since 2010. Launchpad has brought training in church planting best practices to hundreds of people throughout the United States. The training is designed for either local planting teams or individual planting leaders. This edition of Launchpad will be equally helpful to people planting fellowships or Fresh Expressions that will not likely charter as United Methodist churches and to those who are planting churches that will organize in the traditional manner. The training is easily contextualized to nearly any cultural context or planting methodology.

Registration cost is the same whether for an individual leader or a team of up to five: $395 through January 31, 2024, and $425 starting February 1. This is an extraordinary value in that a team of up to five people can register for one price, at a cost of less than $100 per person.
