‘From Dry Bones to Living Hope’ Webinar with Author Missy Buchanan
By Scott Hughes
RECORDING DATE: Thursday, October 14
PRESENTERS: Scott Hughes and Missy Buchanan
A Christian at any age is a role model. Perhaps this is most true in later adulthood. One of the many ways this is true is that older adults have experienced loss: loss of loved ones, loss of independence; some may even feel a loss of purpose. During such a “dry” season, older adults can model hope and spiritual renewal.
Join Scott Hughes and author Missy Buchanan as they discuss Buchanan’s newest book, From Dry Bones to Living Hope: Embracing God's Faithfulness in Late Life, in a webinar Thursday, October 14 at noon, Central Time. Beyond explaining more about this book, Scott and Missy will also explore other dynamics related to ministry with older adults, such as: encouraging and challenging older adults in ministry; what ministry during this difficult period of physical isolation might look like; and intergenerational ministry. Come with a posture of lifelong learning as we learn more about Missy's book and seek ways to engage older adults in vibrant ministry.
