You are invited to an evening of inspiration and connection hosted by Young People’s Ministries of Discipleship Ministries in partnership with St. Mark United Methodist Church. This dinner event is designed to raise awareness, recruit volunteers, and build lasting friendships and support of the Young People's Connectional Network (YPCN) and Young People's Ministries—key initiatives nurturing the next generation of disciples within The United Methodist Church. It will allow rich conversations as we support Young People’s Ministries. The funds raised will support the work of Young People’s Ministries California-Nevada Conference and Discipleship Ministries Young People’s Ministries.
The dinner will be co-hosted by:
- Rev. Claudine Leary, Director of Fund Development for Discipleship Ministries
- Rev. Motoe Yamada Foor, Discipleship Ministries' Director of Adult Discipleship
- Rev. Quentisha Davis Wiles, Senior Pastor at St. Mark UMC
- Rev. Jacey Pickens-Jones, CA-NV Conference Associate Director of Intergenerational Ministries
- Pastor Ivana V. Heang, CA-NV Conference Chair of Young People Ministries
- Rev. David Johnson, Senior Pastor of Elk Grove, Point Pleasant UMC, also serves on Discipleship Ministries' Fund Development advisory team.
Join us to explore ways you can actively support and engage with these vital ministries. This event will be an opportunity to invest in Young People's Ministries with your time, your financial gifts, and networking.
Together, we will share in the joy of being part of this movement, uniting to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people, empowering them to live out their faith, and creating meaningful connections.
We hope you will join us for an evening of fellowship, purpose, and growth.
For planning purposes, please register your attendance by December 1. We hope to see you!
