A Good Reason to Shine

Children of light, you have reason to shine!
Christ is your light.
And, while he tarries,
you are the light of the world!

Children of light, you were made to shine,
made and remade in the image of God;
made to reflect the light of the Burning Sun;
made to receive light and to give it off.

Children of light, you'd better shine,
for the Son of Righteousness comes
looking for light; looking for your light
on that great Day of the Lord.
