At The Turning Of The Year

Michael Hudson is an Episcopal priest and author living in the mountains of western North Carolina. His book of 153 hymn texts, Songs for the Cycle, is published by Church Publishing. This text was originally published in the November/December 2005 issue of Alive Now, a publication of The Upper Room. The hymn is especially appropriate for Advent (the beginning of the church year), Watch Night, and New Year Sunday.
