From Creation's Timeless Word

The author writes of this hymn, "Earlier this year the Reverend Anne Robertson, Executive Director of The Massachusetts Bible Society, approached me about the possibility of writing a new hymn text for the celebration of their 200th anniversary at Old South Church in Boston on May 2, 2009. In the United Methodist Church, National Bible Week is observed in November (Novemer15-22, 2009).
