Prayer for the Second Sunday of Advent, Year C

Traveling Ancient One
Who caravanned the desert sands with Abraham and Sarah
Who walked with Peter and Mary Magdalene
Who sailed with Paul and Priscilla:
Travel with us this Advent Morning.
Guide us through the wilderness of our minds to focus on you.
Bring the mountains of our egos and the valleys of our depression to level land.
Straighten our belief so that our actions might smooth out rough roads.
Help us, today, to see the salvation of God we pray
Through the Messiah you sent and are sending still, Amen.
