The Power of Through

For those who may be looking for something different for Heritage Sunday, May 24, this year Dr. Cynthia Wilson, Executive Director of Worship Ministries, in conjunction with the General Commission on Archives and History, General Secretary Alfred T. Day III, created worship resources specially designed for this event.

Heritage Sunday reminds us that we stand on traditions from a variety of sources and streams that have fed us as the people called Methodist. This is an opportunity for us to look to the church we are becoming by embracing our rich history and traditions. Here you will find a full order of worship, as well as additional liturgical resources, preaching notes on the texts chosen for the theme “The Power of Through” and other helpful resources.
