Springs of Living Water

An old song, “Spring, up O Well!” reminds us that the river of life flows in us and out of us into the world. This week, we celebrate the living water that nourishes us and the world when we share it with those around us.

Add water to the plants in your terrarium this week or visual display in your worship center. Depending on the size and shape of your terrarium and your plants, you may need to water more often than every Sunday, but bring the water during worship at least this week.

Consider inviting someone who fishes or explores waterways by boat to share a story this week. That person could talk about how the fish populations have changed over time or how water that once was clean for swimming is no longer clean. That person could invite congregation members to participate with a local organization that documents fish spawning events or protects local waterways as habitats.
