This week, music centered on embodied, interconnected believing will help illuminate the themes lifted in the preaching notes. To lean into the theme of “living water,” sing the hymn “Come to the Water” (W&S 3114) or the contemporary pieces “Only Water” and “For Those Tears I Died.” The hymns “Camina, Pueblo de Dios (Walk on, O People of God)” [UMH 305], and “Bring Forth the Kingdom” (TFWS 2190) invite us to take on the responsibility to make our interconnected faith a reality. Like last week, themes of all creation praising God are central to the Revelation passage, and several of the hymns and songs below tie into that theme: “So Will I (100 Billion X),” “Oh We Praise You,” and “Rejoice.” “Welcome” (W&S 3152) would be a great opening hymn, and it ties in themes of creation.
