Eighth Sunday after Pentecost – “More Than Conquerors”
July 26, 2020 – Romans 8:26-39
CALLS TO WORSHIP
LEADER: Who will separate us from the love of Christ?
PEOPLE: Will hardship, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or death?
LEADER: As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all day long; we are accounted
as sheep to be slaughtered.”
PEOPLE: No! In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves
us.
LEADER: For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers,
PEOPLE: Nothing present, nothing that is to come, not power, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all of creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. AMEN. (Rom. 8:26-39)
